Father Blogger dot Com has expired again

This is bad news, not only for me but also to my friends. Yes, Father Blogger dot Com has expired again and I am not sure if I can renew it again. The exact expiration date of my domain name is Friday,June 25, 2010 and I have to renew it within 29 days after its expiration date. Otherwise, I have to pay $190.00 or simply let it go.

Actually, it also expired last year but a lot of friends helped me. That time, it was nominated as One of the Top Influential Blogs for 2009 and eventually landed on the 4th spot.

That time also, I don't have a job and my focus is to blog and somehow making money. I met a lot of new friends who supported me all the way. Most of them even helped me financially when my wife and daughter suffered from Dengue fever.

But since my work now is eating a lot of my time and my Paypal account is empty, I don't know if I can be able to renew it again. In fact, it has been three weeks since I was last online. Actually, my friend turned-blogging mentor wanted to help me but his Paypal is also empty.

Sharing parenting and marriage tips has been my passion since I started blogging way back 2007. I love my main blog very much and I will not just allow it to let go.

Wish me luck!

Father Blogger dot Com was 403 Forbidden

I have been busy this past few days, especially on Christmas Day. But sad to say, I was not with my family. While my family is in their hometown in Bulacan, I was busy selling toy lights and similar items on the streets of Lipa and Tananuan City, both in Batangas.

Anyway, just to inform you all that my Father Blogger dot Com was 403 Forbidden since Christmas Day until a few minutes ago. After reporting it to my host awhile ago, it was resumed and I do not know what the problem was.

I think this is the problem when a blogger is not online regularly since he will not be consistently aware on what's happening to his blog. Another problem is when you do not know enough the technical aspect of blogging, just like me.

I am just lucky enough to get support from my blogging friends.

Well, I think I should add more time in blogging although it may not be the way I used to.

But for now, I am glad that Father Blogger dot Com is alive again.

As for my family, we may see each other again on Wednesday.

Celebrating New Year's eve is one thing we never miss!

My Blog is on the First Page of Google

Yes, my dear readers. I am happy to announced that my blog is on the first page of Google, and I am still glad although it was only in the Philippines. But before you raise your eyebrows, let me explain further.

Actually, it is my Father Blogger dot Com blog I am referring to and not this one. I noticed this when I signed-in my account at Blogger.com this morning to create this personal blog. Since it has been a long time that I visited my Blogger account, I decided to search the keyword blogger at Google Philippines.

I was surprised to see that my main blog appeared on the fifth slot, in which the first three slots went to the Blogger and Blogspot sites. The fourth one went to Pinoy Blogger Directory but currently has a problem, and they are still fixing it.

Therefore, every Filipino who will sign up or even start a blog using Blogger will notice my blog. They may visit it eventually since it also contains some blogging tips, which I mentioned about it on my tag line.

Anyway, I have yet to check my traffic to see if there were really visitors from Google Philippines who came to my blog using the keyword blogger.

Just the same, I just hope my own set of blogging tips can really help them. But of course, I also hope that my blog will stay there for a long time.
