Manny Pacquiao and Donaire to Donate P1M for Ondoy Victims

Manny Pacquiao, the reigning pound-for-pound king is still in Baguio City for his training to fight Miguel Cotto. It is known that he always dedicate his victory to his fellow countrymen, which is why the Filipinos love and support him so much. However this time, it is them who needs support from him.

And without any hesitance, Pacquiao is going to donate P1M for Ondoy Victims. This is through his MP Foundation, and it will be given to GMA Kapuso Foundation.

In addition, he will try to spend his Sunday day-off to go to Manila with the whole Team Pacquiao to give relief goods. He even advised the Filipino people to hold on to their faith, and that we can overcome this trial.

Nevertheless, the Pacquiao-Cotto fight is set to shake the world this coming November 14,2009.

Meanwhile, Nonito Donaire, Jr. who is also a Filipino boxer and the current world boxing super flyweight champion also vowed to donate P1M for Ondoy Victims. This is supposed to be his gift from President Arroyo for giving honor to our country, when he beat Panama’s Rafael Concepcion last August 15.
